Limited Warranty
Warranty Coverage
Motor City Harness Medics warrants that all wire harness repairs and modifications performed at our facility shall be free from defects in technical workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of final invoice. This coverage is strictly limited to the specific repair or modification performed by our technicians as detailed in the project invoice.
Warranty Exclusions
This limited warranty is rendered null and void under the following conditions: internal kinetic damage sustained during subsequent installation; environmental exposure exceeding OEM specifications (including but not limited to excessive thermal stress, moisture, or chemical corrosion); unauthorized third-party technical modifications; or system failure resulting from auxiliary component malfunctions in the host system. Component degradation due to standard operational fatigue or pre-existing system damage outside the repair scope is explicitly excluded.
Warranty Claims
To initiate a claim, the primary client must contact our technical department within ten (10) business days of identifying the suspected defect. A formal claim number will be issued, and the component must be remitted to our Michigan facility for forensic technical evaluation. No field repairs or diagnostic sessions with third-party vendors will be reimbursed without prior written authorization from Motor City Harness Medics.
Warranty Evaluation
Upon component receipt, our technicians will conduct a technical audit to determine the root cause of failure. Should the audit confirm a defect in our original technical workmanship, Motor City Harness Medics will, at its professional discretion, either repair the defect or rebuild the affected system area at no additional technical charge to the client. This constitutes the sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty.
Shipping
The client assumes full responsibility for all logistics costs related to shipping the component to our facility for warranty evaluation. Should a workmanship defect be validated, Motor City Harness Medics will assume the cost of standard return ground shipping to the client. Expedited logistics or international transit fees remain the sole financial responsibility of the client.
Limitation of Liability
Motor City Harness Medics shall not be held liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of vehicle utilization, labor costs for component removal/installation, secondary system damage, or potential lost revenue resulting from component downtime. Our maximum aggregate liability shall never exceed the total technical service cost paid for the specific repair as detailed on the invoice.
Non-Transferability
This limited warranty is non-transferable and applies exclusively to the original technical services purchaser. Any sale of the component or change in vehicle ownership immediately terminates all warranty protections provided herein.
Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan. Any professional disputes arising from this technical agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Southeast Michigan.
